Daystar Education is a consortium of addiction professionals dedicated to providing high quality affordable training that promotes competence in people who provide services for clients with addictive and mental health disorders.
Daystar Education provides ACCBO accredited courses in drug, alcohol, and substance abuse counseling. We offer one, two, and three day courses that address a variety of subjects ranging from Basic Counseling Skills to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to Sexual Addiction!
Students may obtain all 150 educational hours needed to obtain their CADC I and continuing educational hours needed for recertification and advancement toward a CADC II and CADC III.
Daystar works closely with ACCBO, the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of Oregon, in an effort to continuously evolve our programming to meet the changing needs and goals of the Addictions Counseling field. Daystar also works collaboratively with a number of treatment facilities and addictions related organizations in the Oregon area. We seek to encourage collaboration, conversation, and competency throughout the local Addictions Services field.
